Taste Sprint
Most designers choose a style by feeling and defend it with adjectives. In two days you’ll learn to name what you’re looking at, pick a style that fits a brief, and build a screen in it that you can explain line by line.

What you take home
One screen, designed at 1440 and at 375. The same screen at both widths, not two different screens. A first version and a second version, so the critique is visible in the diff. With it: a recipe card, three tagged references that each prove one line of that card, a note on the two directions they killed, and a ninety second recorded walkthrough.
Saturday practises on one brief: an independent record shop's New arrivals page, with a fixed wireframe. Sunday builds from a new rebrand brief: a real product's screen, given a new aesthetic from the Day one eras for a named audience. The Sunday starter file is that screen generated with Figma First Draft, unchanged, so every student starts from the same bytes and the difference on Sunday is theirs.
