Course Overview

Interface Anatomy is an advanced, hands-on course for designers who want to move beyond designing individual screens and learn how to build systems that scale.

Starting with visual foundations such as colour, typography, grids, and layout, the course takes students through component architecture, design tokens, accessibility, documentation, governance, and design-system strategy. Students then cross into design engineering, learning how their Figma decisions translate into code, Storybook, and real product experiences.

The course culminates in a portfolio-scale capstone where students take one system through the complete journey: design decisions → Figma system → tokens → code → working product → case study.

Along the way, students receive live guidance, critique, build periods, milestones, and exposure to real-world design-system practices. The course also introduces AI-assisted development workflows using coding agents, while keeping design judgement, system thinking, and human decision-making at the centre.

Learn UX from someone who’s done the work

I’m Rajat, a design practitioner and mentor with 10+ years of experience across UX, UI, product design, design systems, and front-end–aware workflows.

I’ve designed and shipped real products, built design systems adopted across teams, worked closely with engineers and product leaders, and navigated everything from early-stage chaos to large-scale complexity.

My career has been hands-on by choice — I believe the best mentors are builders first. I don’t teach UX as theory. I teach how UX actually works inside real companies, with real constraints, trade-offs, and deadlines.
